Global outreach

Whether reaching out to our local community or to those within our church;

whether traveling to the other side of the world or to another state,

the Gospel is our first priority and the growth of Gospel-centered churches is our vision.

Invovlement in the Mission

We are excited to once again host our Global Impact Missions Conference! The theme for this year’s conference is “Involvement in the Mission.” Throughout the New Testament there are two principles that are clearly seen when it comes to Missions. First, the local church is both the means and the ends of the mission. This means that the goal of the local church is to establish other local churches throughout the world as the means for reaching the world with the gospel. Second, since the local church is the means of the mission, we as church members are called to be involved in the mission through our local church.

We are overjoyed to once again have Ryan Robertson, President of Reaching and Teaching International Ministries, returning to be with us for our Global Impact Missions Conference. This was an intentional decision. There are many different missions-sending organizations throughout the evangelical world,  each having its own emphases. The strength of RTIM lies in their distinction to partner with the local church as the primary vehicle of accomplishing the Great Commission. In other words, no other organization comes alongside the local church as the means and ends of mission the way that RTIM does. Because of this distinction, we are looking forward to once again featuring RTIM and RTIM missionaries.

How can you be involved in the mission this year? Allow me to offer you 3 specific action steps to cultivate a heart and disposition to be involved in the mission of God through the local church starting now. First, commit to exercise generosity toward the mission with more than just finances. How can you be generous with your time and your talents for the mission of God to reach the nations? Second, commit to pray for unreached people groups in 2025. Constantly praying through unreached people groups is a great way to keep the gospel and the lost on the forefront of your mind. And finally, commit to take practical steps in your life to get on the mission field  over the next three years. We are planning to make mission trips a strategic initiative once again in the coming couple of years. Nothing grows your heart for the gospel more than going!
