The Charge is the student ministry of Bull Street Baptist Church which serves Students from grades 6-12. The Charge has three main objectives: 1) To bring students to saving faith. 2) To equip students to make disciples in their everyday life. 3) And to encourage students toward broader involvement in the body of Bull Street Baptist Church.

Inductive Bible Study

The main avenue of teaching at The Charge is our midweek inductive bible study. We believe that the best way to call students to repentance and saving faith is to teach them the Word of God. By studying Scripture verse by verse, we also seek to equip students to read and apply the Word more effectively on their own.

Biblical Survey

While studying the Bible verse by verse helps to pull specific application from small sections of scripture, we also see value in helping students to see the bigger picture in Scripture. Studying books of the Bible in larger sections allows students to understand themes that are harder to see when studying small pieces.

Theological Study

We know that students first and foremost need to learn how to read the Word of God. Along with the study of the Bible, we also believe that students should know how we come to doctrinal conclusions about Biblical truth.
